"What? What's happening?"Flame asked.

"The exit's blocked, and there are glass walls surrounding us. How do we get out?"Aurora asked.

"We've got something more important to worry about."Gale said while pointing at the inter-space dimensions.

The inter-space dimensions are shaking uncontrollably.

"Everybody! Watch out!"Staner exclaimed.

There was then a flash of darkness.*

Nobody was to be seen in the room.

"Say, why is Gale the only one without anything before him?"Strife asked.

"Because there's a problem with the systems of Killakata."Gale replied.

"Hmm? What do you mean?"Sky queried.

"The systems of Killakata never makes a mistake."Gale answered.

Without a warning, the entire place started to shake. The entire place started to crumble. The door which they entered from was sealed by pieces of the ceiling. The glass walls sank back into the ground.

"Everyone! Hold on to something!"Gale shouted.

Then, as immmediately as it happened, the earthquake stopped.

The interspace dimension closed.

"Something is definitely not right. We should get out of here as soon as possible to investigate."Gale informed everyone.

"Alright! Let me destroy the things blocking the door!"Flame exclaimed energetically.

The entire place started to shake. The glass walls rose once again.

The party of seven walked through the door that was just newly opened.

"Congratulations on making it this far! However, this room will not be as easy."said the voice.

"As I expected, this is the renowned test room of the Killakata..."said Gale.

"That's right. This is the final room, the Fear Room."replied the voice.


"The Fear Room? Does it like, show us things that we are most afraid of? Like in those kiddish storybooks?"Flame asked.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY? HOW DARE YOU INSULT THE KILLAKATA'S FINAL ROOM!? YOU'LL SEE TRUE TERROR!"shouted the voice.

Glass walls rose from the ground, seperating the seven, thought they could still see each other.The formation of the glass walls created seven corridors.

In each corridor, an interspace-dimension portal opened up.*

"Hmm, high leveled powers indeed."Gale commented.

From each portal, a certain object appeared, though all of them seemed different from another.

In front of Gale, nothing. Staner, slime. Flame, a giant wind machine. Dragging itself towards Aurora, a zombie. Rushing towards Strife, guards. Slithering towards, River, lizards. Standing before Sky, a demon.

"Huh? Since when was I afraid of demons?"Sky queried.

"The Fear Room not only projects what you fear, but also what you hate."the voice replied.

"Since when did I hate demons?"Sky asked.

Nobody answered, as they were busy with their opponents.(Except Gale, of course.)

"Pesky guards, I've defeated them long ago."Strife commented,

"I-impossible! That was the information we received!"the voice shouted disapprovingly.

"Hmph, then your source must be faulty."Strife replied.

Author's note: My internet crashed the last few days, so I couldn't update. Well, yeah. Here's the next chapter.

The seven of them entered the door. The door closed.

"Alright. This is the weather room. Different disasters will happen, so let's see how you survive." The voice said.

*Rumbling sounds*

"I think it's...going to rain." Aurora said.

And it did.

The entire room was filled with a tremendous rain.

"Hey! What's going on- glub glub glub." Flame shouted.

"The room is flooding!" Strife exclaimed.

The water level suddenly dropped.An earthquake follows. The floor split into half and magma shoots out. Great heat engulfed the room.

Gale then uses his powers to make wind platforms for everyone to stand on. Pillars of fire rose at great speed.

"Woah!"Flame exclaimed.

Suddenly, a thunderstorm occured. Lightning bolts fell down around the room. One of them hit Staner and he fell straight down.

"Staner got hit! We have to help him."Flame shouted.

"We have to get him! If he falls, he'll hit the magma."Gale stated.

As Staner was close to the wall, he drew out his sword and stabbed the wall, which was wooden.

Gale rushed forward and made another platform for Staner to stand on.

"I thought I was a goner." Staner said with a grin.

The magma flowed back into the ground. The thunderstorm subsided too.

"Well done! You passed the second test!" The voice said.

The door swung open.

"Staner, how did you recover from the hit so fast just now?" Flame asked.

"Before I got hit, I took out my sword and used it to block. I deflected the lightning bolt, but the force still knocked me down."Staner replied.

Author's note: First of all, I'm seriously very sorry for no updates for two months. To tell the truth, I was, well, slacking. Therefore, I'm going to update as-much-chapters-as-I-can for this few days.


As the seven walked through the gate, it closed itself.


"So, a few weaklings decided to pass our tests? You will have to go through five tests. If you pass, you are then worthy to enter the city. If not, your life ends." A loud voice said.


"I'm not weak!"Flame shouted.


"Then prove it. The first test is... the trap room."The voice said.


"I think that he meant that this room is now full of traps?"Strife asked.


"Bingo! Now shut up and clear this room or just get killed by its traps. Your objective, is to get to the door."The voice replied.


"This looks easy, lets just walk to the door. Ok, lets-whoops!"Flame said while taking a step forward. An arrow flew past him, missing his ears by inches.


"This is dangerous. We have to move carefully. Take the wrong step and you will die."Gale said while looking around.


"I think that there should be a specific way of moving through this room."River commented.


"Agreed, but it will be dangerous to just step on any random tile to find out if it triggers a trap."Sky replied.


"Hey, what's that?"Aurora asked while pointing at the wall.


"It's a board with writings on it."Staner said while looking closely at it.


"It says 'NNWWSSESWWWNWNNENNESNWENWNENNESNNEN' What's that supposed to mean?"Flame read the board.


"I think it means NSEW means North, South, East and West."Strife replied.


"Which may mean forward, backwards, move right and move left. There is a red line here, which probably means that the instructions start from the red line."Gale said while looking at the floor.


"We can't possibly remember the entire instruction. It's quite long."Staner commented.


"Each of us can remember just one part of it."Aurora replied.


"Hmm... good idea."Gale said.

"So mine will be NNWWS, Sky will remember SESWW and so on."Gale instructed.

Therefore, the seven followed the instructions and finally was able to go through but they had some injuries.

"Oh impressive! To think that you could pass the first test! The rest will not be so easy. Here's a present for you."The voice said.

A block of metal fell down from nowhere.

"Watch out!"Staner shouted.

The block of metal fell through the floor.

"Are you trying to kill us!?"Flame shouted.

"That's right!"The voice replied.

*Sweatdrops*

The door swung open.

"Hmm, we've reached the gates."Gale said.

"Whoa! It's really huge! How are we going to go in anyway? The gates are shut."Flame exclaimed.

Right after what Flame said, the gates creaked open.

"Oh..ok..."Flame said slowly.

Just when all of them stepped in, the gates slammed shut.

"You have walked into the gates of Killakata. You will have to pass a few tests to go through. If not, just die here. It has nothing to do with us."said a voice.

"Hey...why do we have to go through tests? How would the people from Aegis ask for help from here?"Aurora asked.

"They don't, that's why. The people of Aegis are stronger than you think."Gale replied.

"By the way, tell us more about Sky's past."Aurora asked.

"Well, it's-"Strife said but got cut off.

Gale had secretly kicked Strife's leg. Strife knew what he meant so he shut up.

"What? Tell us!" Flame said.

Sky, River, Strife and Gale pretended not to hear him and walks on.

"Hey! Wait for us!"Flame, Staner and Aurora shouted.

"Hey Sky."Strife whispered.

"Yea?"Sky asked.

"Why were you angry when Flame kept talking during dinner that time?"Strife asked.

"Shouldn't I? Isn't it annoying when someone keeps blabbering while you are eating? It's rare for me to eat with many people."Sky answered.

"Ah, I understand. My parents disappeared when I was four. My brother had to take care of me then. He disappeared when I was seven. I had to take care of myself. I was alone until now."Strife replied.

"Hey! The something happened to me last time which was quite similiar to this. My parents disappeared when I was five. I had a little brother which was still a baby. That is all I can remember."Sky said.

"Hey everyone. We've reached the entrance of Killakata." Gale said.

"Hey Gale, why didn't you want to come here last time."Staner asked.

"That's because you had to go through some tests before you can go in there. I'm too lazy to do it that time."Gale replied.

Halfway through their journey...

"Everyone, let's rest for awhile."Gale said.

"By the way, what is the name of the orb that you have?"Gale asked as he turned to Aurora.

"I'm not sure, but I think that it is called the Orb of Life. My father told me that when he passed the orb to me. I also heard from my mother that the orb is needed as one of the sixteen items needed for summoning a weapon that is said to be so powerful that only one person can use it."Aurora answered.

"What are your parents' names?"Gale asked.

"Sorry, but I cannot answer that."Aurora replied.

"Who's the person that can use it?"River asked due to curiosity.

"I don't know."Aurora answered.

After their rest, the seven continued their journey...

The party of seven then split into twos....TWOS!!??



So, Sky paired up with Strife, River with Aurora, Flame with Staner and Gale with...

"Eh?I don't have anyone to pair with and they are already gone.Fine I'll just go myself."Gale said to himself.

On Sky and Strife's side

"Hey, Sky."Strife said.

"Yea?"Sky replied.

"Are you sure you saw everything ever since you are sealed? I'm just curious."Strife asked.

"Not really. It's as if I "blacked out" for a while...maybe for years, I don't know.When I awoke, I was looking at...myself. Of course, it took me quite a while to realise that I was sealed. Strangely, the memories before I got sealed were very faint."Sky answered.

"I see..."Strife replied.

The seven met up again.

"How's the town?"Gale asked.

"Everyone is friendly."Strife answered.

"Everyone greeted us."Aurora answered.

"There are people who gave us apple."Flame answered.

"Ah, as usual, this town is very friendly. Hmm.. among all the places I went in the world, this is the best town"Gale said to himself.

"You travelled the world!?"Flame asked.

"Yea..I did."Gale replied.

"Anyway, we should go to Killataka, the village of paladins, to report the matter of the undead rising. Be careful, that is one of the places I never went."Gale told everyone.

"Why didn't you go then?"Staner asked.

"I didn't feel like it."Gale answered.

"Weird..."Flame commented.
