"Smoke?How come?What's going on?"River asked frantically.
"Hmm...it seems that we have to go and investigate."Strife muttered.
Once they reached the village,they saw the cause of the smoke immediately.There was a volcano in the middle of the village.
"A..a volcano!?It wasn't there before!"River said in shock.
Suddenly,there was a shower of swords.
"Oh no!It seems that the summoners and fire mages are here to attack again!"River cried out.
"Attack?Heh.We'll meet them on the battlefield."Strife said,giving a sadistic smile.
Once they reached the battlefield,the entire ground was red.It was so red that nobody could mistake it for fire.It was blood.Corpse of mages were scattered around.The entire battlefield was bloody.Blood.Fog.Corpse.And broken weapons.
Mages and wizards were casting their spells.Some were killed before they could even cast a spell.All of a sudden,a scream of terror was heard.A gigantic beast appeared in the skies.
"Fiersome....so the legend was true."River whispered.
"Legend?What do you mean?"Sky asked.
"Legend said that whenever a battlefield contained 30,000 kilograms of blood,a beast named Fiersome will appear in the sky and stop the battle,killing everyone in its sight."River answered softly.
"What?Kill everyone?We will have to stop it!"Sky shouted.
It wasn't a good shout.The shout alerted Fiersome and it looked at them.To River's horror, Fiersome moved towards them in a great speed.
"Sorry."Sky said.
But it wasn't of any use.
