"Hey,there's a road sign here.Wait...there are wierd markings on it.What could the markings possibly mean?"River asked.

"I don't know,but we still have to read what the sign says."Sky replied

That was the sign.


"What does it mean by 'something terrible'?"River asked.

"It might be a monster."Strife said.

"Well,we won't know until we find out.So let's go on."Sky told them.

The winding road lead them to a beach.Near the beach was a very short cliff.

Suddenly,River spotted a girl and two people on the cliff.

"Come over girl,or we'll kill you."One of them said to the girl who was very near to the edge of the cliff.

"Never!"The girl shouted back.

"Quick!Jump down!I'll catch you."Strife shouted to the girl.

"Huh?Can I trust you?"The girl asked.

Just then,the two people were closing in.The girl turned and saw them running towards her.She jumped down and Strife caught her.

"Thanks.You saved my life."The girl said as she thanked Strife.

"Who are you?And why are them chasing you?"Strife asked her.

"My name is Aurora.Those people are chasing me because their leader wanted the item I took when my entire family was...killed."The girl said.

"What is the item?And what is it for?"River asked in curiousity.

"It is an orb which was passed down through family generations.I don't know what is it for though."Aurora answered.

"Anyway, what are your names?"Aurora asked.

"Strife."Strife answered.

"I'm River.Nice to meet you!"River replied.

"I'm Sky."Sky told her.
