Blades of Death and Life (Part 36) Weird sounds...

The party of seven followed the old man into the village.

"..."

"Hmm? Strife, is there anything on your mind?"Aurora asked.

"No, but...why is this place so dark?"Strife replied

"I thought so too..."

"You all should go to sleep first.It's already nighttime."The old man said.

It was night.The frogs in the riverbank nearby are croaking out loud.Even though the trees are bare they amplifies the darkness.

"Hey...what's that sound?"Sky asked.

"Hmm? What sound?"Staner asked back.

"Don't you hear it? The sound of....cracking?"

"Come to think of it...yes."Staner replied.

Sky and Staner woke the others up.The rest of them listened properly and heard it too.

"Crack!"

"Outside!Quick!"Sky shouted.
